Kruger National Park

One of the most prolific parks in Africa, the Kruger National Park is home to the Big 5 and stretches some 350 kilometres along the north of South Africa and along the Mozambican border.

Its name means “Salt Pan Mountain” in English. A mountain range found in the Vhembe district in Limpopo. The mountain range stretches some 130 kilometres and there is plenty to do in the area including various overnight hiking trails and the beautiful Lake Fundudzi.

Hans Merensky Nature Reserve

The reserve lies to the west of the Kruger National Park. Known for its accessibility on foot, it lies on the banks of the Great Letaba River. The reserve does not play home to the Big 5 but is a perfect destination for picnics, hiking and family outings.
